Description of Didark

At Didark we consider ourselves passionate about art and we want to keep that love for it alive. Our goal is to transmit it to our participants and make that curiosity for the culture, art and history of Spain remain.

The activities we organize are:

- Guided tours: We have different visit themes with which we will make excursions to museums. Depending on the theme that we will address, the entire museum or only part of it will be visited. These will be monitored by an expert guide who will contextualize the participants historically and culturally.

- Historical routes: we make outings through different emblematic areas of Madrid, such as El Retiro, Gran Vía, etc. We will be accompanied by a guide who will tell us the history and evolution of this place.

- Urban Camps: We organize urban camps with the aim of teaching young people and children different types of artistic or cultural studies. The classes will be both theoretical and practical, thus making them learn by playing.

Description of Didark Urban camps

At Didark we take care of spreading and promoting the love for art, culture and history of our country in young people and children.

In our urban camps we carry out different types of activities with this objective. Some of them are:

• I'm an archaeologist !: During this workshop we will learn what the true job of the archaeologist is, how they work and what tools they use. The children will have theoretical and practical teaching material. They will put themselves in the shoes of these experts and will be able to carry out excavations and research on what they discover.

• The little architects: the children will be taught different anecdotes about Roman architecture, since the architects of ancient Rome were true experts in this field. The children, after the theoretical part, will create and decorate a Roman villa as they like best, taking into account what they have learned.

• The artist and his cave: in this workshop on rock art, the children will receive a visit from an ancient shaman with whom they will learn how people used to paint in Prehistory and what were the reasons for those paintings. The room will be transformed into a cave so that they feel immersed in history. Later they will paint the walls of the cave with the shaman.

• The artist's workshop: "we will visit" the workshop of Picasso or Miró and they themselves will tell us about their way of working and the secrets of some of his paintings. Children will learn different painting techniques and paint some of the most famous paintings by one of these two painters.
