At Jovial Adventure Zaragoza we know the best ways to extract the potential of the natural area that surrounds the town of Mequinenza. We do it through activities in which the river has a main role and that are adapted to groups of adults and children taking into account an interesting educational point of view.

You can:

• Enroll your children in the sports and adventure camp : it is a program for ages between 9 and 16, designed so that they maintain permanent contact with nature. In this camp we will carry out multi-adventure activities, many of them aquatic such as kayaking and stand up paddle. Learning occurs with coexistence with their monitors and with their peers. Accommodation is provided at the Camí de Sirga hostel a thousand meters from the town (Mequinenza).

• Follow a canoe route : we have a great variety of itineraries through the interior of the province of Zaragoza although, following the river in most of them we will pass through Huesca. The difficulty is medium to low in almost all of them with admission of participants from the age of 12.

With Jovial Adventure you can learn the keys of canoeing while you join our descents between the sections of the river that pass through the main towns between the provinces of Zaragoza and Huesca.

Some of them are:

- Up to Mequinenza taking Fraga as a starting point: it is a route along the river in which people over 12 can participate, provided that the groups do not exceed 20 people for safety. It ends in a maximum of 5 hours and hardly has any difficulty, so we recommend it for school trips.

- Between Fraga and Torrente de Cinca : descent that runs entirely through the province of Huesca, also for those who have reached at least 12 years. It only takes 2 hours and passes through the lower part of Bajo Cinca. Although in most of the itinerary we will only find calm waters, some rapids will surprise us that will add excitement to the experience.

- From Zaidín to Fraga : although the minimum age to do so does not vary we are facing a more complex route between 3 and 4 hours. We will go through an area near the road that connects these villages observing the characteristics of the fauna of the riverbank.

With Jovial Adventure you have an English camp with adventure activities that children from 9 to 14 years old can take part in . We will be in the city of Mequinenza using the Camí de Sirga hostel as a base.

It is an 8-day camp in July that is offered in three different consecutive shifts so that your children do not run out of place. All activities, both in nature and those of a cultural nature, are developed in English to facilitate that participants learn to function using this language as the only vehicle.

The monitors who will take care of them come from the United States or are English to ensure that they are fully bilingual and that they have accents and modes of expression typical of Anglo-Saxon-speaking countries.

The accommodation is located very close to the town so we will have facilities for everything we need in a camp that:

- Covers the day-to-day of the attendees with full board in the hostel's own facilities where we will sleep.

- Includes all materials for modalities ranging from kayak and paddle surfing in the river to bike rides.

In Jovial Adventure your children will have a multi-adventure camp that is completed with the contact they will maintain with English during their stay. It is offered in three shifts, each of 8 days, in the month of July and children who are from 9 years old can participate in it. The maximum age that can be attended is 16.

These boys will be staying at the Camí de Sirga shelter . We have chosen it for its proximity to both the town of Mequinenza and the area of its reservoir, which will facilitate the transfer to the adventure activities that we will share.

All registrants will have a full board that, in addition to covering all daily meals, includes insurance and the use of all the material that will be required for sports like these:

- Initiation canoeing: we will stay in the area where the waters remain calm to internalize the maneuvers that are basic for the navigation that we will do in the last section of the Segre.

- Paddle Surf: we go on to find balance on these boards in which we will also use a paddle to move.

- BTT: we will pedal near the banks of the Ebro to see the composition of the natural areas around Mequinenza.

We will also have time to interact with horse riding and participate in games and gymkahanas. We will also know how the bird banding procedure is.
