Cuenca Canoe Club was founded in 1991 by Justino Bordallo. It didn't take long to gain a foothold at the regional level. We began to make outings, championing the name of Cuenca throughout the Spanish geography.
The facilities of Club de Piragüismo Cuenca can be accessed by taking the Villalba de la Sierra road, which starts from the San Antón bridge, bordering the Jucar river until approximately 3 km, where it is located. the “Las Grajas” walkway that crosses the river giving way to the club.
The results did not take long to arrive and that helped more and more paddlers join this club. The times when canoes were stored vertically in the old light transformer at the height of the “peñote” are still in our memory, and people changed clothes in the street, even when it was snowing.
The club offers members, friends and relatives the practice of alternative activities, which allow us to appreciate new horizons and discover that there is life beyond canoeing. Excursions, marches, recreational or coexistence days, as well as the practice of other different sports will be periodically organized.
If you want to enjoy canoeing surrounded by true fans of this sport, your place is at Cuenca Canoeing Club. Live a unique experience.
