Where to go canyoning in Somosierra?

- One of the highest waterfalls in the Madrid region is the Chorrera de los Litueros waterfall. Don't miss the breathtaking vistas, as you will pass by the Dehesa Bonita de Somosierra woodland on the route. It drops in four separate, varying height falls.

- The Peña el Chorro ravine lies at an altitude of 1470 metres, and the water flows from a river of the same name, which rises in the Peña Cebollera and has more or less water depending on the season of the year. This stream joins the famous Arroyo de Las Pedrizas to become the great river Duratón.

- The Chorrera de San Mamés is a waterfall situated on the Sierra de Guadarrama's southeastern slope. This natural area, located in the Peñalara Natural Park, lies in the north of the Community of Madrid and is one of the river Lozoya's tributaries.
