4x4 route through Cangas de Narcea Chapels and menu

Join the Chapels route, on a 4x4 vehicle! It is an excursion that departs from Cangas de Narcea, although if you are staying near Corias' state run hotel, we will also be able to stay there.

Once we are ready, we will go to the neighbourhood of Cascarín, where the first chapel we will see on the route awaits us: that of San Antonio. After a stop to see it, we will return to the path and go to the
Sierra del Pando. It is a path of great beauty, and on our right we will see the course of the Narcea River and on the left that of Luiña.

We will stop at the chapels of different villages, where the neighbours worship different saints, especially when the summer local festivities arrive.

We will meet the Magdalena and from there we will continue to Trasmonte. We will reach the Mina del Coto, a mining complex that has been already dismantled. We will continue on the road, passing through Riotorno, Vidal, Piedrafita, Jalón or Gedrez, always with the guide's explanations by each stop we make at the places of interest.

We will continue to Brañas de Narcea and we can see the spot where the Narcea river originates. We will also pass through the Hermo Monastery.

Once back, we will make a final stop in Gedrez to visit a restaurant where we will be served a delicious typically Asturian meal.

At the end of the meal, we will take you back to the starting point in Cangas de Narcea, and finish the activity.
