Excursion in 4x4 Santuario del Acebo and wine tourism

To begin this experience you will meet the guide in Cangas de Narcea, although we can also come up to the Parador Nacional de Corias state inn. From here, we will go to Puerto de Leitariegos.

In Puenticiella we will take the exit towards Cobos and we travel along a path that leads to the Acedo Sanctuary. Here we will stop for 30 minutes.

While we are here, you will be able to enter the church to see its interior, and you can also visit the well-known post of a local, María "the hazelnut picker", where you can purchase the holly raceme, a souvenir from thvery popular sanctuary.

We will visit the place that is also the final stretch of the most emblematic stage of the regional cycling competition Tour of Asturias. This the area where the winner usually makes himsefl/herself with the victory. 

We resume the route by SUV and head towards Vegalapiedra. We will take the Pilarina road and descend towards Tebongo through off-road tracks.

We will reach Villar de Tebongo, where there are traditional wine-making wineries. We will visit one of them where professionals of the world of wine-making explain how they turn the fruits of the vineyards of this area into delicious wines thanks to ancestral techniques. You can also try some of these wines with the "cacho", a special bowl that is used for this product. In addition, we will also offer cold cuts and other regional products .

At the end of the tasting, we will return to the 4x4 and return to the starting point of the excursion, to finish.
