Material, knots and abseiling course in Girona 1 day

If you are into mountain sports, this course about the equipment, knots and rappelling in Girona will be perfect for you to get started. This course will be very useful for learning the basic concepts to be successful on any mountain sport, such as via ferrata, climbing, canyoning, caving, etc.

Assisted by experienced instructors, you'll attend to theory and practise lessons to pick up the required safety measures in progressing on vertical distances. First, we'll show you the equipment that these activities usually employ, namely ropes, carabiners, belay devices and others. Then, we'll explain you how to use every one of them.

Next, you'll learn how to tie a knot, an essential knowledge to safely carry out the activity, as if a knot is not properly tied, your life could be threatened. Afterwards, we'll descend with a rope; that is to say, rappelling.

You don't need to have previous experience climbing for joining this course. We'll give you technical support during and after the course. Once the course is finished, you'll be able to perform rappels with complete freedom and autonomy.
