Descent of the Sella by canoe from Arriondas 1-5h

The canoe descent of the Sella is one of the adventure sports that begins in the town of Arriondas, from the same bridge as the canoes on the day of the well-known competition, and is done in an estimated time of 1 to 5 hours, including stops and breaks.

The duration depends on the section you choose to descend on the day of your activity. We offer you the possibility of descending 7, 15 or 20 kilometers; The last one being the longest in duration and is the one performed by professional canoeists on the day of the competition.

Before the descent, a professional instructor gives a brief course on how to handle the paddle and the canoe and some safety tips.

The canoes are stable and easy to handle, with capacity for 1 (K-1), 2 (K-2) or 3 seats (the latter for a child under 5 years old). Odd groups carry an individual canoe. If you need anything else, you must confirm it.

Once the tour is finished, we will be waiting in our disembarkation area, from there, with the utmost diligence, we will return to our office of origin (Ribadesella) where you can use our changing rooms with hot water.

*Participants must bring spare clothing and shoes, sandals (with support), swimsuit, sunscreen and towel.
