One day canoe excursion through Alto Navia

The area where Galicia and Asturias meet is probably one of the most beautiful in all of Spain. We suggest you delve into a part of this area through a spectacular canoe route.

We are going to enter the waters of the Alto Navia River, very close to its source. It is an isolated environment, where you will enjoy the virgin nature, since very few people know how to get here. We will be alone. We will arrive here through the Os Ancares Nature Reserve, which belongs to Galician territory.

It is a very mighty section, but do not feel intimidated by the force of the river, since the canoes in which we navigate are very difficult to capsize, so we will be safe.

After approximately 6 hours descending the river, we will reach the Boabdil bridge, where our support van awaits us, which will take us back to the starting point.

It is not mandatory to have experience, but it is necessary to be in minimally good shape, and come with the mentality of doing a long route.

On the way back we can make stops for the guide to interpret the environment and you can learn more about the area, for example, an old metal foundry.

The planned program is for a full day, but it can be prepared for several days, even up to a week. Ask us if you are interested.
