Canoe route through the meanders of the Alagón River 6 hours

We propose a journey through the meanders of the Alagón River, as it passes through the province of Cáceres. On a 6-hour route you will be able to explore the waters of this river on your own, and discover the fauna and flora that it houses in its surroundings.

The groups must be a minimum of 4 people, and you must have some previous experience as this activity has a medium level of difficulty. It will be a route of 21 kilometers at the mouth of the Alagón in the Gabriel y Galán Reservoir, between Riomalo de Abajo and Granadilla.

The landscape will be splendid, as you will be surrounded by protected natural areas where vegetation abounds and animals such as wild boars, roe deer, cranes, vultures and eagles live. From the canoe you can explore this entire incredible ecosystem, keep an eye out in case you manage to see any animals!

You will go without a monitor, but we will provide you with everything you need to go safely. We will take you from our center in La Hoya, in Salamanca, to the start of the activity and we will give you a map that includes: the route to follow, the approximate time of passage and the places of interest that you will be able to visit. visit.

In addition, we will give you all the necessary materials: a double canoe with paddles, life jacket and neoprene. Each canoe will have a 50-liter watertight container in which you can store your belongings so they don't get wet.
