Descent of the La Higuera ravine in Almadenes

If you like the idea of joining a great adventure in Murcia, you can book a descent that takes place in La Higuera ravine. This canyon is located in Murcia, more specifically in the Almadenes area. 

To start this activity, we will meet in Cieza. Once we have reached Almadenes' power plant, we will put on our wetsuits and the rest of material on and, after that, go to the starting point of this ravine's route. 

Once in the river, the first challenge we will face is a 10-metres rappel, followed by another 6-metres one. Here, you will be able to spot a giant fig tree after which this canyon is named. 

We will continue advancing and completing abseil after abseil, rappelling down a 6-metre, an 8-metres one, and another with a spectacular distance of 29 meters. The last rappelling wall will take us to the Segura River, within the Almedenes ravine.

After the fun and water part of this ravine, we will exit the ravine and finish with a very fun descent. We will return by car to then, change clothes and finish the adventure. 

You just need to wear a swimsuit and bring a towel, mountain shoes and a change of clothes.
