Description of Almanchares canyon descent medium level

We suggest you descend one of the most fun canyons in Andalusia: the Almanchares ravine. It is located in the Sierra Tejeda, Almijara and Alhama Natural Park.

If it has been a rainy year, it is very watery. It is quite vertical, and yet it is suitable for everyone, even if we do not have good technique. However, we need to be in good physical shape to rappel.

Children can sign up for this canyon descent as long as they are at least 10-12 years old.

The descent of Almanchares, with approach and return, will take us about 5-6 hours in total. The difference in altitude that we will cover will be 200 meters.

It is a medium-high difficulty route.
