Canyoning course in Valencia 2 days

If canyoning catches your attention and you want to learn how to do this activity autonomously and safely, we have a perfect course for you. This is a 2-day course, which we will do in different parts of the Valencian Community.

Throughout these sessions we will teach you to correctly handle both individual and group material, to prepare rappel descents, to belay yourself or a partner and to perform basic rescue maneuvers.

You will learn to evaluate a ravine and establish its level of difficulty through a series of markers. You will also know how to deal with live waters, in seasons of high flow.

We will teach you to progress both horizontally and vertically, mainly thanks to rappelling. You will learn how to advance through slides and siphons.

Of course, we will talk about what mistakes are commonly made, and how we can avoid them.

You should bring hiking boots that won't get damaged by getting into the water. A thermal shirt to wear under the wetsuit will also come in handy.

To sign up for the course you must know how to swim, be at least 15 years old (with parental authorization if you are a minor) and not have any illness incompatible with this sport.

You don't need any previous experience.

There will be one instructor for every 4 students. Furthermore, to take this course it is enough to have a minimum group of 2 people.
