Speleology by Coventosa Cave Ghost Room

If you were looking to enter the world of caving or simply taste what it means to enter the bowels of the earth, then you can stop looking for plans, because you have just come across a route of Caving through the Coventosa Cave , one of the most important and emblematic at the national level that we will discover by going to visit the acclaimed Room of the Ghosts with a tour that will take us just 2 hours .

This caving route is located in Arredondo , Cantabria , and the only thing you will have to bring is: water, comfortable clothing, sports shoes and yes you have long hair, something to put it back. Forget the rest because, believe it or not, you will not need to buy something for the occasion since we will take care of providing you with all the necessary equipment. Also, don't worry about previous knowledge or experiences, as the caving route through the Coventosa Cave is an initiation route, so we will train you before starting.

To visit the Room of the Ghosts we will have to access the Coventosa Cave through an entrance with a tight curve. Once inside the cave, a passageway flooded by countless rocks awaits us, so you will have to be careful. This corridor will eventually lead us to a path that will turn left and when we take it we will find ourselves face to face with a colossal 15 meter deep well that we will rappel down.

When we lower it, we will then be on the second floor of the Coventosa Cave and from here we will go east to run into another void again, but this time 65 meters deep. We will overcome it by going down a protruding ledge with the intention of getting fully into the Sala de Las Columnas , an underground gallery with such curious formations that we will have to stop for a moment to admire them.
