Speleology in Cueva de los Chorros 4h

If you are thinking of immersing yourself in the world of caving and you have no previous experience, this excursion to the Chorros cave inside the natural park of the Calares del Mundo and Sima is Level 1 initiation and perfect for the occasion.

We will begin the route in the parking lot that is located in the Birth of the Mundo River . From there, we can glimpse the mouth of the cave where we will enter to make our expedition and the great waterfall that emerges from it.

To resume the route we must go up the slope along a path that is half hidden and that will lead us to a very steep slope to the most exposed area through which we will access the cave. There we will take advantage of the flat area to fully equip ourselves with helmets that have built-in lighting and warm clothes.

The distance we will travel during the 4 hours of the activity is 6 kilometers and it will be necessary for the group to be 3 people up to a maximum of 6. Although it can be done throughout the year, It is advisable to do it in summer and we will pass near a river and you can feel the freshness it gives off during the summer.

Due to the difficulty it is necessary that all the members have more than 14 years to be able to make this incursion.
