Speleology in the Cueva de Arcoia Medium Level

If you are one of those who likes to discover new places, discover natural landscapes never seen before, we bring you a perfect activity for your tastes. Our activity consists of a caving route through the Arcoia cave, located in the small village of Céramo, belonging to the municipality of Folgoso do Caurel, affiliated, in turn, to the province of Lugo.

This cave is the one with the greatest number of formations of all those in the autonomous community of Galicia. It will be possible a route in which we cover several of the levels that it has, highlighting the section of O Courel. This expedition will last approximately two or three hours, as long as the pace of the participants is constant.

You will be accompanied by our tourist guide, who will explain the different components inside this cave. You will have all the necessary material to be able to carry out this activity, so you only need to wear comfortable clothes and adequate footwear for the terrain inside the the caves, taking into account that the temperature is usually low although with high humidity.

This route is advisable for those who already have a basic knowledge of speleology, since its level of difficulty is medium, as there are sections in which a certain physical condition is required. The groups on the routes will be small, with a maximum of 20 people.

*Requirements to be met: minimum 10 years old, not being afraid of closed spaces or the dark.
