Aquatic caving tunnel of Sumidor Vallada 4h

There is always talk of the fantastic creatures that the bottom of the sea hides, but what about the interior of the Earth? If you are a curious person we propose an activity that you cannot refuse. We will take you to explore the deepest gypsum cavity in the world, the Sumidor tunnel, with a 4-hour spelunking route.

Guided by a expert spelunking instructor, you will start with a hike that will take you to depths that you did not suspect could be reached. However, although the capacity of this cave is 205 meters, the monitor will limit our itinerary only to the areas that can be accessed without the need for any spelunking material.

You will enjoy crawling and overcoming narrow passages in the only cave of the province of Valencia that still retains an active watercourse. But for this, you will have to move to Vallada. In this beautiful Valencian town you will find the Barranco del Penyó canyon, where the entrance to this cave is located.

Although we will explore the simplest section, it will be necessary for you to come with appropriate clothing for the activity. On the other hand, it will be our job to equip you with the necessary material to practice spelunking. And, calm down, you will not return empty-handed.
