Speleology in the cave of Sarsa Bocairent

In Sierra de Mariola Natural Park, you will find Sarsa cave, a more than 700 cave gallery where we would like you to accompany us on a spelunking expedition. We will access this place through the trail of Santa Bárbara. 

This cave is located in Bocairent and was discovered more than a century ago. You can nowadays have access to it only as a leisure activity. We will be guiding you across one of the three sections that make it up, where will experience a more than 36 meters height difference. 

This is a beginners level spelunking trip, which you can also do any time of the year since there are no seasonal or weather restrictions. 

Take into account that you will probably get your clothes and shoes dirty, so make sure that you bring a change of clothes and a towel for when the activity finishes. Remember also to bring a bottle of water and sunblock if you are doing this activity during the warmest months of the year. 

You will be fit to go on this spelunking expedition as long as you are in normal and average physical condition, and don't suffer from a heart condition, or are afraid of the heights.
