Description of Baptism Sport Climbing 4 hours
Take your first contact with sport climbing with this climbing baptism. On it, the objective will be for you to:
- Learn the basic techniques for climbing a rock wall autonomously. You will see how your legs and hands poses play a role in correctly climbing as they bear your whole body's weight.
- Review the main safety measures for properly using the harnesses and the fastening systems employed during practise, avoiding being at risk every time you want to go rock climbing.
If you have always wanted to do rock climbing but you weren't completely clear about it, we guarantee that if you come, you will get hooked!

Description of Baptism of sport climbing in Gerona 8 hours
Participate in an introduction to the classic climbing in the modality of climbing in rock, where we will learn and practise the progressive and security skills that will allow us to circulate in unequipped climbing ways in rock, whenever they are of low difficulty.Some of the contents we will address in the course will be:
- The meetings: the importance of ensuring them in an appropriate way and know how they work and the reason why they are useful.
- The abseiling: we know the keys of the essential skill to sag us after the climbing.
- The progression in climbing is 2 and 3 climbers.
- Progress free and with security through non-equipped itineraries.
- Know the fixings and how they work.
- Placement of fixings (Claus, fisurers, friends, ...).
- Abandonment of itineraries.
*The student needs to bring his/her own equipment. In case of having none, ask us for the rental option.
What does the activity include
- Qualified sports technician
- Accident and civil liability insurances
- All the equipment required to perform the activities
Mandatory equipment for the students:
- Comfortable clothes that allow movement
- Sports shoes/climbing shoes (renting for 3€)
- Food and water for the time of the activity
- Helmet
- Harness
- Hammer
- 3 snap hooks of HMS security
- Flat belt of at least 3 metres
- A line of at least 1 metre and 5 mm. of minimum diameter
- Abseiler
- Wedges, friends, ...
(If there is no equipment, we can manage the renting, checking).

This training programme will have a duration of 8 hours.
