Description of Weekend mountaineering course, Vallter 2000
In Vallter 2000, we encourage you to sign up for this climbing course during a weekend. This course is addressed to learners. Although there's no need to have any previous experience you should have a basic physical shape in order to keep up during 2 days.
You'll learn how to use correctly the ice axes and crampons, as well as how to go up and descend down the snow.
We will climb to the peak of any mountain the second day to put everything you've learnt the day before.
Apart from that, you have the possibility to spend your nights in the Ulldeter hostel after paying an extra charge.
Once you finish the course, you will have acquired the required skills to climb up independently.
You should bring your own technical equipment, waterproof clothes, food and water. In case you don't have a gear, we can rent you one.
