Description of Aguadulce Snorkeling Route

We propose a guided route together with diving instructors and naturalist guides who will tell you what you are observing and will bring you stars or hedgehogs so that you can see them up close.

At the school we will assign you diving equipment: 5 mm neoprene suit with hood. This way you will float without the need for uncomfortable life preservers, in addition to being protected in case there are any jellyfish. You will also bring fins, snorkel and mask. In the case of small children, we also carry floatation boards that will help them feel safer. We have carried out the activity with children from 4 years old.

Then we will board (the boat is only 5 meters away) and navigate to one of the shallow coves offered by the cliffs of the Sierra de Gádor. This mountain range reaches the sea fromAguadulceand to Almería for 12 km. We will carry out the activity on submerged slopes, in areas between 1 and 4 meters.

Depending on the group, we will travel different distances, always observing the rich underwater fauna and flora of the cliffs. Diving instructors will always be by your side.

We will be able to observe more than 30 different species of fish, stars, urchins, and all types of algae. Large schools made up of thousands of fish, fish camouflaged among the rocks, anemones, sponges, ascidians, and sometimes we can see octopuses, cuttlefish or large sunfish.

THERE IS NO KIND OF DANGER.

We will be in the water for about an hour. We will take digital photographs and videos that we will then send to you by email.

It is not necessary to have experience or know how to swim, it is a fun, entertaining and simple activity that can be done from 4 - 5 years of age. It is an ideal activity for families or groups of friends.
