PADI Open Water in Arinaga

We will teach you what you need in order to become an autonomous diver. Besides, we will make it very easy for you:  you can execute your first dives in such an enviable location as the island of Gran Canaria. Our facilities are located in Arinaga and that is where we will dive first, although the sea conditions will be the ones determining the dive site we choose.

The number of dives we execute, 5 in the sea, is another aspect characterising our PADI Open Water. We will take it step by step, first we will gain some experience in confined waters and then we move to open waters. Without even noticing it, we will dive down deeper and deeper until we reach 18 metres, the maximum depth allowed with this international certification.

The basis of becoming a good diver is basic knowledge. The use of the dive tables, the basic safety rules, the use of the scuba gear are important and we even have to know the important species we can meet during our adventures. Remember! The theory part is really important, not only because you have to pass a test exam, but also because this is what allows you to be in control of your dives.

 Without any doubt, one of the most fun parts is having your first contact with the water: the sensation of the constant air flow, being able to dive without having to rise up to the surface to breath.. it will make you feel like a new world opened up to you!
