Description of PADI Open Water Diver from Puerto del Carmen
Becoming a certified diver is just a matter of days thanks to our Open Water Diver recognized by PADI, a diploma that will accredit us for:
- Dive up to 18 meters deep, in joint outings with at least one other diver.
- Autonomously access the rental of the equipment you need to enter the water.
- Hire dives directly at any center.
- In an average of 3 or 4 days, depending on the time you have and the pace of your progress.
- You will have 5 theoretical modules to familiarize yourself with the general concepts of the activity, especially with everything related to underwater safety.
- You will practice in the pool where the absolute control of the conditions that surround you allows us to focus on you starting to feel comfortable with the equipment.
- You will learn to function in real situations with 4 dives in the sea.
- You will review what you have learned with a multiple choice exam.

How long the activity lasts
The course can be completed in 3 or 4 days depending on the student.
When your activity starts and finishes
From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

How does it work?

- Get the activity with Open Date. You'll have 90 days to activate the date.

What happens in case of bad weather?
Don't worry about the weather. If the provider cancels due to weather conditions or unexpected issues, you can postpone the date at no additional cost or receive a full refund.
What is the cancellation policy?
Fixed Date bookings are non-refundable, except in cases of bad weather or issues with the provider. Bookings without a date or for gifting can be refunded within 14 days of purchase.
