SSI Open Water Diver Course in Costa de Teguise

You will dive through a piece of the spectacular island, you will have theoretical modules, practical sessions in confined waters and dives with which you can reach up to 18 meters. All this so that in a weekend , you will be a professional diver capable of diving anywhere in the world.

Completing this SSI Open Water Diver course will only take you one weekend, nothing more. That is the only requirement, time, because we take care of the rest: all the theoretical content, the necessary equipment, the practical sessions in confined waters, the dives in the open sea and the professional divers who will be your instructors. You will only have to bring bathing suits, a change of clothes, a towel and materials to write down during the theory lessons.

For this Open Water Diver diving course you do not need previous knowledge as we start from scratch. You will start the weekend as a novice and end it as an expert, so you can assume that during these days we will touch absolutely everything related to diving .

This diving course first begins with a total of 6 theoretical modules in which we will learn everything necessary about the equipment and the physiological reaction of the body when submerged at such depths. We will know the material and we will learn to use it, and we will discover how to communicate underwater and to perform different maneuvers.
Once we have approved the 6 modules, we continue our Open Water Diver course with 6 confined water dives. Here we will practice everything we learned during the theory and we will practice neutral buoyancy, flapping, to dose the breath so that each dive lasts longer and to advance adequately.

When we have completed this practical part, we begin what interests us all, the dives in the open sea. For this we will enjoy the best places to dive in Teguise and in order to obtain your license you will have to successfully carry out a total of 4 dives, which we can do in: the most northeastern slope of Teguise , in Puerto del Carmen or in Playa Blanca . All these places are spectacular and have an exotic and diverse marine fauna, sea caves and countless reefs.
