SSI Scuba Diver course in Costa Teguise

Under the bowels of a volcanic and arid island that has been declared in its entirety Biosphere Reserve (yes, we are talking about Lanzarote ) we find marine life that seems from another world and a colorful and exotic aquatic landscape that immediately becomes silent and we want to show you how it deserves, diving. For this, the SSI Scuba Diver course is the perfect option, it combines the same as a baptism with a more demanding course and in just one day you will finish the afternoon as an expert diver capable of reaching up to 12 meters deep .

For this diving course the only thing you will have to bring will be bathing clothes, a towel and a change of clothes, we will take care of the rest and on our own we will run all the necessary equipment, the material for the theoretical sessions , the practical classes themselves, both in the open sea and in confined waters, and an expert diver who will accompany you at all times teaching you the keys necessary to dive naturally.

For this SSI Scuba Diver diving course you will have to come to the Costa de Teguise , in the northeast of the island, an emblematic corner of the Canary Islands for diving and therefore, insuperable. We begin the training with the theory and here we will learn how our body reacts to pressure changes, how the equipment works, and how to prepare and use it for each scuba dive that we are going to do in the future.

We will not stop much in this part because diving is learned by practicing, so once we pass this part successfully (it consists of 3 modules) and we have no more doubts in mind, we begin with practice, although first It will be in confined waters to deepen what we have learned in a safer way and in a controlled environment. We will have a total of 3 dives in the pool and here we will learn to dose oxygen, control neutral buoyancy and flap properly.

Once ready we begin our adventure as such and we will enjoy a diving course that will give us the possibility of making two dives that will take us to a maximum depth of 12 meters. For this, our ally will be the splendid Playa del Jablillo , an ideal corner to start out in this water sport as it has a spectacular seabed that we can contemplate without having to reach great depths . On our way we will enjoy a piece of the Atlantic that is home to golden rays, goat bream, common bream, neon reef perch and disturbing spider crabs.
