SSI basic diving course off the coast of Setúbal 4 h

If diving catches your attention but you have not yet taken the step to practice it, we have the perfect offer for you to learn the fundamentals of this discipline and of course put them into practice. We suggest you take the SSI Basic Diver diving course on the Sesimbra coast. Between the theoretical training and the practical dives, you will be able to enjoy for 4 hours the magic that this sport gives off.

We will meet at our center in Sesimbra, just one hour from Lisbon. There we will give you the theoretical training, we will leave you the diving equipment, the material that you are going to need and there you will also put into practice the theoretical knowledge with your first dive in confined waters.

In the pool dive you can experience the sensation of submerging yourself with the diving mask and the tank at a shallow depth. At the end of this phase, we will go together to the Sesimbra Naval Club, from where we will leave by boat to make the second dive, this time in the middle of the ocean and a few meters deeper.

All our activities related to this discipline will be carried out in the Luis Saldanha Marine Park, which is located in the Arrábida Natural Park, the idyllic setting to debut in this diving. During the second exploration dive you will be able to enjoy the incredible views that the bottom of the ocean offers us and, if you are lucky, you will be able to meet some of the different species of fish that live there.

When the activity ends and you have passed the course, you will be authorized for the following 6 months to be able to dive independently, but always with supervision, being able to descend up to 12 meters.

* The only requirements you must meet to be able to participate in this course are that you know how to swim and be over 10 years old.
