Its grandeur will leave you hypnotized from the moment you start the route to its thousand-year-old sacred place.

The architecture of its Monastery, together with that of the Basilica and the Cloister, will leave you amazed and you will learn everything about the artistic wealth that inhabits it. Inside, you can contemplate the Virgen de la Moreneta, an unavoidable appointment once you are in Monserrat. You will know its history and you will soak up the Catalan traditions, leaving aside the tourist plane. In addition, you can enjoy the show of the Escolanía de Monserrat. Her spectacular singing will put the finishing touch to your excursion.

This guided tour will begin with the welcome by our experienced and bilingual guide at the meeting point, Pasaje de la Concepción 7. At 08:30 the tour will begin in Paseo de Gracia in a bus. You will tour Barcelona along Avenida Diagonal, the largest in the city. You will be able to see the Royal Palace of Pedralbes and its surroundings and then leave the city and begin to discover the towns around Barcelona.

You will also have the opportunity to see the FC Barcelona Sports City and its headquarters, we will take you through the region where you will begin to see the great mountain of Montserrat. You will enter the beautiful Montserrat Natural Park, from where you can have impressive views.

Once arrived at Montserrat, the cultural visit to the Monastery will begin, where you will learn about its history, visit the Basilica of Santa María and learn about the lifestyle of the monks. At 10:45 you will board the San Joan Funicular; here you will learn how the mountain was made and quiet, the walk is practically always downhill and enjoying privileged views of the mountain and its wildlife. To recover some energy after the walk, you will taste the typical Catalan dessert, "mel I Mató" (cheese sprinkled with honey) from one of the local farmers. The sweetest way to end this wonderful excursion.

At 12:00 we will give you free time to visit the farmers market, the souvenir shops... so that at 12:40 you will meet again with the guide and return to the city.
