Description of Visit to Córdoba by José María El Tempranillo

The typical bandit from Andalusia always reminds us of the one who was the head of all of them, José María "El Tempranillo". This character today is a mixture of myth and historical facts and can still be breathed in many corners of the province of Córdoba today.

To discover it, we will depart at 8 from the port of Malaga towards Jauja where the Romantic Banditry Center awaits us. There we will remain recreating the story of our central character until 11 in the morning.

At that time we will do some hiking around the Malpasillo reservoir to the Ermita de la Fuensanta, treading the same paths that the bandit used. (If previously requested we will recreate a surprise ambush).

At 2 p.m. it will be time to share a picnic without leaving the hermitage grounds. Two hours later we will continue looking at the Mausoleum of El Tempranillo to see its permanent resting place since 1833. We will finish all activities at 5:00 p.m. with an hour's return to Malaga.
