Guided tour of Lanzarote by César Manrique Children

If you're visiting Lanzarote and your children are with you, you can take them to know the northern part of the island with the work of the artist Cesar Manrique of Lanzarote for a special price for children.

During our tour, we'll be accompanied by a specialised guide and connoisseur of the culture and history of the island, that will explain everything in detail all the aspects of the life and work of this wonderful artist.

The tour starts around 10 in the morning every Wednesday with bus pick ups in the main tourist areas. Our first visit is the Monument to the Campesino in the heart of the wine area of the Geria and we'll go next to Villa de Teguise, the former capital of Lanzarote.

When leaving Teguise, we'll continue towards Mirador del Rio, where you'll be able to appreciate the amazing views of the Isla de la Graciosa and the rest of the small islands of the Archipelago Chinijo. By the way, did you know that in Canarias the small kids are called "chinijos"?

We'll go down the hillside of the volcano of Corona en route to two of the most representative works of the artist: Cueva de los Verdes and Jameos de Agua. (we don't visit both, you have to tell us which one you want to go to). The next stop is Aloe Vera Museum, located in the village of Punta Mujeres, where you'll discover the processes and farming of the plant.

Lastly, we'll visit where Cesar Manrique lived, that has been turned into a museum and Foundation that has his name.
