Description of Trekking in the Redes Natural Park
The Redes Natural Park is declared a Biosphere Reserve, so trekking here is a luxury for all mountaineers who want to spend a day in a special environment. It is located in the Cantabrian Mountains and measures more than 37,000 hectares.
It has amazing forests and meadows that constitute the perfect habitat for thousands of plant species, such as oaks, ash trees, birches and especially beech trees; and animals such as brown bears, otters, bats, wolves, wild boars, eagles or owls. In short, an entire ecosystem with great natural wealth, very well preserved, that you cannot miss.
The meeting point will be at the park's Interpretation Center, in Campo de Caso and during the 4 days we will do a total route of 51 km. Accommodation during the 3 nights It will be in a beautiful refuge located in Brañagallones, where dinners, breakfasts and a picnic are included.
A professional and qualified guide will be in charge of taking you every day along the routes that we have carefully prepared so that you don't miss a single detail of the park.
