Trekking in the Redes Natural Park

Redes Natural Park has been declared a biosphere reserve by UNESCO, which is why doing trekking in this area is a luxury for everybody who wants to spend a unique day surrounded by nature. It is located in the Cantabrian Mountains and has a total length of 37,000 hectares.

This place is characterized by stunning forests and meadows, creating a perfect habitat for thousands of different species of oaks, ashes, birches and especially beech forests; animals such as bears, otters, bats, wolfs, hawks, wild boars, and owls. All in all, a rich and very well-preserved natural ecosystem you simply can't miss.

The meeting point is the Park's Interpretation Centre, at Campo de Caso, and this 51 kilometres route is going to take us 4 days. We include accommodation for 3 days at the beautiful Brañagallones' shelter with breakfast, lunch picnic and dinner included.
