At Picos Outdoor we want to accompany you so that you can enjoy nature on some impressive tours of the mountain .

In these outings you will have our support and knowledge, acquired with training and after much experience.

As we walk, you will get to know and assimilate what we see, as we will explain every detail: ethnography, flora, fauna … everything will surprise you! In addition, for the development of the routes we can speak several languages , such as Spanish, French and also English.

Hiking, mountaineering, mountaineering and orientation are some of the activities we carry out and for them we will always go out in small groups, making sure to always be under supervision.

Among our hiking trips we offer you one day routes to the Senda de Frassinelli, Pico Jarrio, El Cares, Lakes of Covadonga or Pico Pierzu, among other destinations. Which one do you want to visit?

But we also have prepared some excursions on specific dates to Ponga, the wonderful Natural Park where you will enjoy its beech forests and exclusive fauna such as deer, wild boar, brown bear, etc.

The Picos de Europa will be another point of visit, specifically its central and western massif. Ask us the days!

In addition, with us you can also learn about orientation in our course. During two days you will assimilate concepts and how you should interpret the compass, the map, the altimeter and all the materials and elements that you will use to move outdoors.

But in addition to all this, if you want a personalized excursion , do not hesitate to ask for it. We can organize it for you!

Enjoy beautiful landscapes, study its flora and fauna, breathe fresh air ... at Picos Outdoor we are going to organize the routes in which you can experience all this in Asturias .

We have various destinations, which can be visited during one day . Perhaps you would like to head towards Pico Jarrio, Pierzu, Cueva de Hielo, Peña Castil, Ponga, or be amazed by the superb landscapes present in the Ruta del Cares, the Senda de Frassinelli, the Lakes of Covadonga or the Vega de Ario.

But if you think that this would be short, the months of August and also in September and October we have routes to specific destinations that will last several days.

One of them will be Peña Ubiña and for 4 days we will tour this massif reaching some of the most beautiful towns in the area, such as Tuiza or Lindes. A guide will support you on the way and the accommodation will be made in this case in the Meicín, a magnificent refuge.

Ponga is the Natural Park in which you can walk 4 days . The first of them will start in Les Bedules, passing through Ventaniella, where we will stay at his Casería.

The Peñas Ten and also the Pileñes will be two of the places through which we will move the following days as we go towards a glacial valley, that of Arcedonio. We will finish this experience at Picu Pierzu.

The Central Massif and also the Western Picos de Europa can be other destinations. 5-day excursion , with a specific itinerary for each one and staying in several shelters. You will enjoy nature, fun and all its surroundings!

If you have always wanted to know all the techniques that allow you to walk through nature without fear and with the certainty that you will find the path at all times, at Picos Outdoor we are going to help.

In the two-day course you will study a detailed program thanks to which you will then be able to develop an itinerary. You will have theoretical classes, but of course the important thing will be to go out and practice.

During the course you will settle in a shelter and with you will be a titled guide who will transmit you all the concepts and the development of the techniques.

From the meanings of longitude, latitude or projections, to how to interpret maps , place the compass and how to move by guiding you with it, the operation of the altimeter, etc. Then we will get to know other techniques with which you can also orient yourself, such as with the Sun or observing nature. We will also study about GPS and digital cartography. You will learn a lot!
