Hiking weekend in Sierra de Segura

Are you looking for a trekking route plan for your weekend? If the answer is affirmative, we suggest you an offer that better suits you: a trekking route through Campos de Hernán Perea, located in Sierra de Segura (in the province of Jaén). You will have the opportunity to spend two days to make the most of both this amazing natural environment and a healthy outdoor sport.

This activity will last a whole weekend (25th and 26th March). We also offer you one-night accommodation in a rural light youth hostel. You will count on rooms with bunk beds, bathrooms, a kitchen, and a beautiful dining room with a charming fireplace!

The price also includes 2 breakfasts, dinner on Saturday 25th, and lunch on Sunday 26th. We also give you the possibility to go for a restaurant or cafeteria to try some delicious local food for the rest of the meals.

A maximum of 16 people for each group will be required. The meeting point will be established in Córdoba's bullring at 6:30 a.m. or in the plane's sculpture next to El Arcángel Shopping Center at 6:45 a.m. After we will have breakfast, we will go to Huelga Utrera. Here, we will start a medium-level trekking route with a total length of 13 km. You need to bring something to eat for the lunch time. Finally, we will arrive at the hostel located in Pontones.

For the next day, we will start a 24-km trekking route with a high level of difficulty. We will start in Segura river's spring. We will pass through amazing and wonderful places, such as Juan León's lookout or Aguasmulas river to arrive at Coto Ríos. At 3:00 we will stop to have lunch in any restaurant located in Llanos de Arance. At 5:00 p.m. we will come back to Córdoba. We will finally arrive approximately at 8:00 p.m.
