Astronomical hiking to La Ventana del Nublo 4 h

Many see the hiking trails as something tired or boring, but it is because they have not tried ours, much less our astronomical hiking trail in Tejeda, more specifically in the Roque Nublo area, at the top of the Gran Canaria island. A walk of 3 hours long awaits us through this environment with a singular beauty , with arid and desert landscapes that will make us feel that we are on Mars while we walk under the shelter of the stars and other celestial bodies.

Prepare comfortable clothes, a plastic bag, mountain shoes, water and a headlamp just in case (if you don't have one, let us know in advance). All this material is mandatory, but don't worry about the rest because the good thing about a hiking route is that it is an adventure with capital letters without any complications, since you don't need any specific material.

However, we recommend bringing gloves, a hat, lipstick, hiking poles and a light blanket. During this experience, a guide and a Starlight monitor will accompany you at all times and will explain basic concepts of astronomy so that you come to understand how in the past, navigators and travelers were guided by help of the stars, stars that will also help you identify, along with the constellations they form and while you learn about their stories, myths and legends.
