Hiking to ascend Pedraforca in Gósol 8h

Our hiking route to Pedraforca is quite an experience because we will enter its heart to discover from the inside every nook and cranny of this colossal and emblematic Catalan mountain that is located in the Lleida town of Gósol. Join us on this ascent with which we will go to the Pollegó Superior, the highest point of this massif, making a 10-kilometer itinerary with more than 1100 meters of unevenness.

For this ascent to Pedraforca you will not need anything, just come with a group of at least 3 people, something to eat and drink, comfortable clothing and mountain sports shoes. We will take care of providing you with a professional mountain guide.

Our hiking route to ascend Pedraforca starts from the Mirador de Gresolet. From here begins a path that leads to the Lluís Estaen Refuge, which is immersed in a beautiful forest clearing that seems to have been taken from a painting. We will pass the refuge itself to reach the Riambau canal. We will wade through it to turn left and enter the Orenetes cave, starting the Verdet water spring.

We will continue like this until we reach the Verdet hill and then we will enter the most demanding part, since we will practically have to climb all the way. But believe us, it is immensely worth it because after several hours of climbing we will have reached 2,497 meters in height, that is, we will have crowned the Pollegó Superior, the peak of Pedraforca.
