This hiking route of about 12 and a half km, will begin its route through the tunnel that connects the city of Machico with Caniçal, and as we have advanced , you will be amazed by the number of native plantations . The walk will be through an old tunnel that joins the North and South coast. Walking through the valleys, slopes, you will be able to see incredible views over the > Punta de São Lourenço or Porto Santo. It will be an experience that will totally impress you and you will want to continue discovering the immense depth of the island.
It has a medium degree of difficulty, and we recommend the use of mountain boots to avoid possible slips.
