For 4 and a half hours, and with a journey of around 11km, you will have the opportunity to see one of the most beautiful images in all of Madeira. You will travel through various paths that will reveal mountainous landscapes, views of the seathat surround the island and the different streamscreated by the erosion of the water as it passes through the mountains.
The hiking route will come to an end in Portela, but not before seeing in the distant towns of Porto da Cruz and Peña del Águila, are undoubtedly impressive views!
It is a route with medium difficulty, and the use of special footwear or mountain boots is recommended.
