Weekend on horseback on the beaches of Catalonia

If you have always dreamed of riding a horse along the beach, we assure you that there is no better place to do it than the beaches of Catalonia, specifically those of the Rosa Bay and the of Fonolera. But what goes far beyond this activity is doing it during a very special equestrian weekend, so keep reading, because this plan is made for you.

First of all, we want you to know that this is not going to be a weekend like any other, since the experience will last a total of 5 days, of which 3 you will spend riding on our horses for an average of6 hours each day. You have to come very well prepared! And above all, seeing you able to endure all this jogging, never better said, but you will realize that it will be 100% worth it.

Surely your curiosity is already piqued and you are wanting to know what the routes that you will travel throughout this experience will be, that is why we are going to tell you about what you are going to experience. Are you ready?

• Day 1: You will arrive at our meeting point, which will be the spectacular Can Grau farmhouse, a place located in the middle of nature, perfect for resting before starting our adventure of the next few days. Here you will meet our guides and monitors who will accompany you throughout the experience, and they will tell you everything about our fantastic horses.

• Day 2: Our first excursion will head towards the mouth of the Fluvià River and to get here we will cross its course through the forest and fruit rice fields. In this route you will not find any kind of difficulty, so you will continue your way without any problem until you reach the town of Sant Pere Pescador. This is where we will spend the second night and gather strength for the adventures of the following days. .

• Day 3: We will wake up at the hotel just 1 kilometer from the beach, so you can imagine what our first stop will be on this new day. Neither more nor less than the impressive Rosa Bay, a place where the most daring can ride at full speed through the golden sand and fulfill a dream. We will leave the coast behind to immerse ourselves in the dune and mountain trails of the Montgrí massif, a place that will give you spectacular views of this natural space. Then we will follow the route of the Ter river until we reach its mouth in the Mediterranean waters and we will arrive at the hotel where we will spend the night.

• Day 4: If you thought the tours of the beach were over, the stretch still awaits youfor that of Fonollera. This place is very special, because it is located in front of the Medes Islands. Here you can ride through natural spaces and delve into the coastal vegetation while you go through dunes and crop fields. Finally, we will finish the excursion back in Can Grau and spend the last night there.
