During the class you will learn how to handle the board and the kite both in and out of the water. We will start with a theoretical part on the meteorology and the handling of the equipment.
Next, you'll need to know how to handle the kite so that when you hit the water you'll have everything under control. Once in the sea you will have to position the board well to stand on it and catch the waves. You will discover the basic navigation techniques that will make you become a true kitesurfing professional.

Are you spending a few days in Tarifa, your curiosity has been piqued and you want to learn how to kitesurf? Well, we have the perfect kitesurfing course for you at Valdevaqueros Beach.We want you to have great memories of your days in Tarifa and for this reason, we have created a 4-day kitesurfing course so that you learn everything you need about this incredible sport and have a great time at the time.
It is a group course of 4 days, where we will take care of providing you with all the necessary materials for the activity: the helmet, the jacket, the harness, the kite and the neoprene. Each class is 3 hours long in total, so put on lots of sunscreen!
The classes will be taught by our qualified and experienced instructors, who will teach you something new every day:
- On the first day, they will teach you how to put on your equipment, the basic knowledge of wind and weather, the areas that are navigable and practices on the beach. In addition, you will learn to control the kite, the power and advantage zones, takeoff and landing.
- On the second day, you will put into practice what you learned the day before, but this time in the water and without a board. You will move the kite in the power zone in the water and that will make your body drag through the water. You will also learn how to launch the kite and the theory of the board. It's one of the most fun classes!
- On the third day, you will be taught to take control of the kite in the "waterstart" position, which means leaving the water. You will also learn to place the board correctly and to get up for the first time. And, finally, how to rescue the table in case of losing it.
- On the fourth day, to finish the introductory kitesurfing course, we will teach you how to take control of the kiteboard in the water in both directions, the upwind technique and the basic navigation rules.
As you have seen, we have everything perfectly organized so that you learn something new every day. If you want to be one more in the waters of Tarifa practicing the best-known sport on the Costa de la Luz, don't hesitate to participate in this kitesurfing course!
