Kitesurfing initiation course 2 days in O Grove

Make a start into the kitesurfing world, a water sport which combines surfing and wakeboarding together into one, that consists in doing somersaults in the water.

There is no need to have a specific physical shape, this sport is suitable for everybody. The minimum age required is 10 years old, as long as the kid knows how to swim.

Our courses are taught by highly qualified instructors who have an official IKO (International Kiteboarding Organization) certificate.

The length of this course is 2 days, with a 3-hour lesson each day. 

• First day: onshore lesson.

You will learn some basic safety notions, mounting theory, kite traction areas and handling, takeoff / landing and self-rescue technique.

• Second day: onshore and in-water lesson.

Review the things we have learnt the day before and put them into practice in the water. Also, you will learn new techniques: bodydrag, and relaunch.

The price of this course includes the usage of the required equipment. Once you finish, you have the chance to do an advanced training course to get a higher level and kitesurf on your own.

This course takes place in La Lanzada beach, located in O Grove, Pontevedra.
