With the arrival of winter the Sierra de Aracena undergoes the well-known process in which the appearance of all kinds of mushrooms proliferates. Observing, identifying and collecting them is a traditional practice but requires experience and preparation. We will take you through a mycological hiking route where you will learn all about these spore-bearing species.
We will stay at the Ayre hotel at 8:30 a.m. (Seville) where we will leave in private cars towards the mountains. Once we reach the path, the expedition will be guided by a mycology expert who will interpret and identify the different types of mushrooms you will find along the way.
In addition, to learn about the variety of fungi, you can also make a collection based on the instructions you will receive. Therefore, you will enjoy a day in the countryside surrounded by the forests and meadows typical of the Andalusian mountain range.
At the end you will have the option to participate in the tasting of the specimens you have collected. Do not worry, the mycological expert will supervise that they are edible!

The activity takes place for approximately 5 hours (including transportation time).
