Mountain orientation course in the Penedés 2 days

Do you want to take your first steps in mountaineering? Well, the first thing is to learn to prepare for it and have the certainty of doing it with total security. That is why we offer you our mountain orientation course where you will learn how to orientate yourself and how to plan your mountaineering routes.

The course will take place in Vilafranca del Penedés (Barcelona), where our facilities are located, and lasts two days, with 8 hours of daily learning. We will meet in groups of four people minimum and we will leave our facilities to start the activity. Any person over 14 years of age with normal physical conditions can participate.

All the technical material necessary for the activity, we put it: from the compass to the didactic material and the security. Of course, a sports technician specialized in the mountain will accompany you during the two days of the course to make sure everything goes smoothly. You just have to come equipped with mountain shoes or sports shoes with a suitable sole for this activity, comfortable clothes, food, and water.

During the course, we will teach you to use a compass and interpret a cartographic map. You will learn to identify the most optimal trails and paths for your mountain routes according to the climate and orography of the same, as well as to situate ourselves and establish a course thanks to the map and the compass.
