Catalonia Adventures is an initiative formed by a team of professionals with the aim of bringing the world of mountains closer to all those interested in adventure sports.

We offer you a multitude of services so that you can enjoy nature and sports surrounded by incredible landscapes.

We have:

-Training courses in various aspects such as orientation, or general knowledge of the mountains in the different seasons, or canyoning at a beginner or advanced level, or climbing to learn basic techniques, or good rappelling and via ferrata techniques.

-Caving sessions, to enter caves and enjoy the natural spectacle of the various formations that we find in them, and the excitement of discovering the unknown.

-Via ferrata routes, to enjoy another way of exploring the mountain, from the heights, following routes marked with a steel cable and that present various obstacles that will make the experience exciting.

-Canyoning activities, increasingly in demand. Enjoy the adrenaline of descending a river bed, through rappelling and other maneuvers.

-Bungee jumping, to live unique experiences of pure adrenaline.

Catalonia Adventures offers you a wide variety of hiking routes that will discover all the wonders of the province of Barcelona:

• Christmas manger: Every year we put a manger in the mountains to celebrate Christmas, anyone who wants can come. We meet first thing in the morning and do a walk or an activity suitable for everyone with the help of our guides. The objective is to have breakfast in company, set up a manger and sing some Christmas carols.

• Through the heart of Monserrat: The Camino takes us from the entrance of the Natural Park (Can Masana) along a track to the Collado del Guirló, shortly we will take the path to the Collado de las Portelles, which we will reach using our feet and hands. The trail continues towards the Vicenç Barbé refuge, where we will stop for breakfast. From this place we can see the Partió ball, the Miranda de les Boigues, the Train Machine, the Caracol...

• Trekking needles of Monserrat: The Camino takes us from the entrance of the Natural Park (Can Masana) along a track to the Collado del Guirló, shortly we will take the path to the Collado de las Portelles, which we will reach using our feet and hands. We will continue through the Serrat de les Portelles walking along rock, sometimes helped with our hands, the view from this path is impressive. We will cross the hill between Santxo and l'Agulla del Cap d'Amunt, the path continues until we meet Martell, La Faluga, Les Besones, La Filigrana,

Throughout the Catalan geography and step by step you will be able to climb the rock walls that we propose with our via ferratas. Vertical paths carved into the mountain that will take you to the top of the cliffs and ravines.

The steep orography of many regions of Catalonia allows us to practice these routes that are more bearable than pure climbing.

You will find sections equipped with ladders and others in which it will be necessary to climb without any help other than the cracks that exist in the stone.

Via ferratas in:

• Montserrat: In this massif you can do 3 via ferratas, Las Damas, Joc de l'Oca and Canal del Ninet. That of Joc de l'Oca of a high technical level since there is no cable through which to pass the carabiners.

• Sierra del Montsant: steep and through which hardly anyone passes. One of its bridges reaches 15 meters.

• Centelles: The Baumes Corcades via ferrata, very complete, ending at the top of Turó del Puigsagordi. It includes a 65-meter-long Tibetan bridge.

• Oliana: Via ferrata Regina, one of the longest in Catalonia, well known for a long time. Divided into three parts, at the end of each one you can return along a path or continue.

The duration of the climbs will range between 2 and 6 hours, depending on the length and difficulty of each via ferrata.

Approaches usually take about 15 minutes, although they can also take longer.

You will carry out the activity with all the essential via ferrata equipment: harnesses, anchor rope, helmet, insurance and the invaluable help of our climbing guides.
