In 1997 a team made up of mountain technicians and specialists in extreme sports founded Altitud Extrem, a very solid training company that offers alternatives of leisure and adventure for anyone who wants to get closer to the Catalan Pyrenees.

Our flagship is sustainability and respect for the environment and we have the firm objective of transmitting these values to all users who carry out activities with us.

• Autumn & winter: seasons in which you will have the opportunity to try cross-country skiing, take ski lessons first if you need it and follow us on snowshoe routes with the to take advantage of the cold days.

Canyoning is one of the activities that best combines sport and contact with nature. That's why at Altitud Extrem we want to share with you some of the most fun descents in the Pyrenees.

Water trekking or pre-canyoning. For those looking to enjoy a day on a river bed without jumping or rappelling.

- Forat Negre, one of the best ravines to have a first contact with this sport. It brings together all the qualities of a good descent without the need to make great efforts.

- Boixols, a section made up of fun jumps to which are added small slides and simple rappels in which to try descending with a rope for the first time. A good level 1 route.

- Llech, 100% aquatic. Its impressive jumps and long slides make it one of the most entertaining options.

- Núria, only reserved for the most daring canyoners. A descent that requires certain experience and physical fitness due to the irregularities it presents.

When jumping into the void, the procession goes inside, some pray, others hold on with all their strength to the first thing they grab and others simply jump without thinking. At Altitud Extrem we don't care what method you choose, what we do know is that if you do bungee jumping with us you will end up doing the pendulum.

We do the jump on the Salde bridge, located in the slopes of Pedraforca, a privileged location to carry out this activity. An environment that will sharpen this experience even more if possible.

When winter finishes covering the mountain with snow, the snowshoeing season begins. This is one of the most attractive activities during this time of year and at Altitud Extrem we take the opportunity to offer different packages in the Pyrenees:

- Discovered, a route lasting one hour that passes through a pine forest. It is classified as low difficulty, which is why it is perfect as a baptism of rackets.

- Initiation, a 3-hour route that discovers some of the most beautiful alpine meadows in the Pyrenees since with this duration we have more time to explore the surroundings.

- Sports, with the help of the snowshoes that we will be wearing we will be able to crown snowy mountain peaks. It does not present much difficulty but it does require some resistance to complete it.

- Crossings, long-range routes that require a certain physical fitness, medium/high difficulty.

- At night, with the departure of the last chairlift we will leave in search of reaching the summit just as the sun sets, an unforgettable experience.

With Altitud Extrem you will be able to discover some of the best via ferratas in the Pyrenees, we have specialized in carrying out a couple of routes that will show you the true essence of this type of climbing.

- Via Ferrata of Vallcebre, we do it almost every day of the year, it is the only one existing within the municipality of Berguedà. It has a first part in which the verticality that we will face stands out. We will also pass through a Tibetan bridge that was added just a few years ago. Although it is not suitable for children, adults will have no problem passing it with the instructions that the instructor will give.

- Via Ferrata of Ribes de Freser, to carry out this ferrata we travel to Ribes taking an approach time to start it of only 10 minutes. At its maximum altitude it exceeds 1000 meters.

To carry out this activity a minimum of 3 participants is necessary. They are carried out under the supervision of a mountain guide who will provide you with all the mountain equipment: ropes, safety helmet and heat sink.

With Altitud Extrem you can get to know the beauty of the Catalan Pyrenees more closely thanks to our sewgay routes. We use all-terrain models that give you access to the most mountainous and rugged places.

If you are not 100% sure about taking a long itinerary, you can try the experience for 15 minutes on a closed circuit. I'm sure that when you see for yourself that it is a type of vehicle that comes naturally as soon as you get used to it, you will be left wanting to participate in a route.

The minimum age to do these routes is 12 years old, there is the possibility of hooking a car to the Segway to transport younger children. The main reason for this limitation is that, if they are smaller, they usually do not have enough height or physical consistency to handle the segway.

The best time of year to visit the Pyrenees is spring, coinciding with the thaw you can see the best mountain landscapes. It will give you a different perspective to the winter image that always comes to mind when we talk about this mountain range.

A day of adventure is always appealing and even more so if it is in a beautiful environment like La Molina. With Altitudextreme you can explore the best tracks in the area on quads without having to give it up even if you come with children.

• Perhaps one of the most recognized ski resorts located in the Catalan Pyrenees, this is excellent for practicing adventure sports and these vehicles are the ones everyone likes the most.

• We have two types of quads, one for adults, among which you can choose between individual or two-seater, and one more suitable for the little ones, so if you come as a family strong>none of you will have to give up doing the route.

• You can choose from 1 to 4 hours, depending on your plans to get to know this wonder of nature a little more.

• The children will drive along the closed circuit that we have prepared for them. They will love being the ones to drive the quad around the slopes.

• In both cases we will provide you with all the safety material that is needed for the activity, but we always recommend coming with comfortable clothing and appropriate footwear.

• You can ask us for any questions you may have. Your children will enjoy this adventure like crazy.

At Altitud Extrem we are not satisfied with admiring the nature that we are lucky to enjoy, but we like to know it and feel it from the inside, which is why one of our passions is caving.We organize expeditions through theCatalan Pyrenees with our team of technicians to learn more about the formation of our mountains and the origin of our environment.

We will walk for about 30 minutes until we reach the cova d'Anes, just 15 minutes from Puigcerdà between Bellever and Prullans strong>. Perfect for caving for beginners, even for children over 7 years old, where you can let yourself be carried away by the long corridors that we will find there until we reach the main gallery that you will love.

Our guides will take you inside the cave, showing you the different formations that make it up, such as stalactites, stalagmites, flowstones or columns that have been installed in the cavity over the centuries.

At all times the experts will help you progress, although the use of ropes is not necessary, so it is very safe to advance through the cave through the approximately 200 meters that the part suitable for the general public has.
