Via Ferrata of Les Roques d'Empalomar in Vallcebre

The via ferrata of Les Roques d'Empalomar is one of the most exciting itineraries in Catalonia. It's located in Vallcebre, a municipality of the comarca of Bergadá, in the province of Barcelona.

Its verticality in the first stretch and the innovative ropes bridge installed in 2012 makes it one of the most visited via ferrata in the city. It has an easy-medium difficulty and it's suitable for people without much previous experience.

In a via ferrata, a vertical progression is carried out, helped by different items, such as iron rungs, carved steps, zip lines, and pegs. In order to safely ascend, the via ferrata has a steel rope, to which you'll be attached by two carabiners.

We'll carry the required equipment for the activity —harness, energy absorber, helmet, carabiners, etc— and you'll be accompanied by a professional instructor, who will be in charge of the group and its safety.

The ticket to access the via ferrata is included, which is paid to the City Hall of Vallcebre.
