Paddle Surf Route Playa de la Potabilizadora 2 h

With more than  8,000 metres of coast, Spain is a country to enjoy tourism, sun, beaches and water sports. One of these aquatic activities is paddle surfing, and in Ceuta we have some beautiful routes that will take us across the Mediterranean. In this occasion, we encourage you to come and ply the seas towards Playa de la Potabilizadora.

Leaving from Playa de la Ribera, you will start rowing on the board right behind a professional guide. He or she will take you on a ride where you will border the coast visiting virgin beaches that will all share in common the transparent clearness of their waters. At a calm and relaxed pace, you will near the Castillo del Pirata Desnarigado castle, a beautiful construction from the 20th century. 

This way, advancing across the Bahía Sur of Ceuta's coast, we will pass by the foot of the Monte Hacho mountain, to finally arrive to Playa de la Potabilizadora after a 2-hour journey. Even though this is not a difficult route, we recommend that you are in a minimum physical condition so that you can keep rowing without any problems. 

If we are lucky, this tour might even allow to show us some of the rich marine fauna that inhabits in these bordering waters, including an area known as Cala del Desnarigado, famous for the orange-coloured stony cup coral, that is home to these marine species.
