Sierra Nevada paragliding initiation and flight course

Flying is a unique experience and we would like to give you too the chance of enjoying the sensation of being able to float in the air. For this reason, we invite you to fly the skies with us in Sierra Nevada, accompanied by a professional pilot. But, before that we will give you a 2-hour course for you to learn the basics of this sport. 

The first thing you will do during this air-themed day, will be explain to you the fundamentals of the paraglider on ground. That is to say, you will not fly at first. An expert instructor will explain to you how to control the ropes. He or she will also indicate you how to position your body and use the air mass to your benefit in order to fly the kite where you want it to. 

Having assimilated all this knowledge, you will fly from 1,300 meters high, and during 15/20 minutes, we will fly on the tandem paraglider up to Cenes de la Vega, and during this journey you will be able to enjoy some of the most spectacular views from Pico del Veleta which, depending on the time of the year, might be completely covered in snow.

This will be the perfect chance if you have never tried paragliding. Our pilots, which will be able to communicate with you in different languages, will explain to you everything related to this activity, and will provide you with all the necessary equipment for it. 

Since this is an activity that very much depends on the weather conditions, the time or day the activity will be held may change because of it. For this reason, it might be rescheduled to another moment in which the weather is appropriate for the occasion. 

If you don't know the way to the take-off spot, don't worry. We will come and pick you up in the city center of Granada, concretely in Plaza Nueva, Arco Elvira, or in Realejo. From there, we will drive you  to the take-off spot in the area of Sierra Nevada. Once the activity is finished, we will drop you off again at the meeting point.
