Rafting Almadenes Canyon, visit Caves + photos 3h

Live two unforgettable experiences in the same destination, with a duration of three and a half hours in the morning or afternoon and adapted for all audiences and ages. Come and go rafting in the Almadenes Canyon, a unique natural reserve in the Region of Murcia, the most beautiful stretches of the Segura River. A unique, quality experience with total security.

Halfway through the tour we will visit the Cueva de los Monigotes and later the Cueva de las Nutrias, live a whole morning or afternoon of adventure in one of the most preserved corners of Murcia.

This is not a simple rafting descent, as you will be accompanied by interpretive guides who will explain everything about this place.

We will find different species of protected flora and fauna such as the otter, kingfisher, turtle, eagle, gray heron, woodpecker, etc. More than 150 different species! Some of these birds establish their nests at the top of the walls that flank the canyon (more than 120 meters high).

We will make a technical stop about halfway through our descent in Los Abrigos del Pozo, there we will visit the Cueva de los Monigotes, which houses cave paintings created more than 8 millennia ago. It is not surprising that UNESCO proclaimed this place as a World Heritage Site.

We will also pass through the Otter Cave, where a couple of these animals live. And we will conclude at the Mulata dam.
