Dinghy sailing course for children in Gijón, 15 hours

If the little ones in the house like to sail and you want them to get started in the nautical world, there is no better way to do it than with one of our light sailing courses for children.

If you bring your children sailing with us, they will learn safely while having fun with our professional instructors, who always use learning methods appropriate to the age of the students. This course is aimed at children between 7 and 14 years old. Classes will be divided into sessions of 3 hours over 5 days.

They will acquire a multitude of knowledge such as different manoeuvres, how to rig and unrig boats, the basic terminology of navigation and how to recognize wind directions. But most important of all, they will learn to love nature, the sea and the world of sailing.

We take care of providing the little ones with everything they need to carry out the course, from the life jackets to the boats they will use (Optimist or Laser Bug).

For this activity it is not necessary to have any previous experience, but it is essential to know how to swim. We recommend that all children who attend the sailing course bring sunscreen, a cap, a change of clothes, a swimsuit, a towel, water, and closed, non-slip shoes.
