Proastur is dedicated to all kinds of activities related to the sea.

We offer different types of services, all aboard our great boats:

• Boat charter in the Cantabrian Sea: in sailing excursions with a pattern of durations between 1 and 4 hours. We theme the walks and we give you the option of getting to know the Asturian coast or of incorporating a visit to the port to eat.
• Fishing: we provide you with the gear and put at your disposal the boat for coastal fishing in groups that will not exceed 8 fishermen. This is how we guarantee your comfort.
• Whale watching: this point of the coast gives us the opportunity to see seabirds and cetaceans for which we will embark a full day, also with a skipper. We go with an orniological guide who will interpret what we will find in our path.

Another fundamental area of action for us is sailing training, with specific courses for all qualifications:

- Dinghy sailing courses during the afternoons of July, August and September.
- Children's sailing initiation programs, with a minimum of 3 hours of theory and 12 more hours of practice at sea.
- Navigation licenses for the different lengths.

For charter activities, use the Athena 80 and Lagoon 440 models. The interior of the boats are fully equipped with everything you need to enjoy a pleasant ride with an exceptional view of the beaches and the Cantabrian Sea.

With Proastur Pesca you can enjoy a few days of relaxation in the Cantabrian Sea, enjoying an excellent hobby such as fishing.

- Inshore fishing : set sail before dawn and the fishing day lasts 4 hours. In this type of fishing the boat is anchored in the fishing ground and it is fished with bait and hooks in depths of up to 50 meters. The catamaran that we use for fishing has more than 100 square meters of floor, which allows the activity of 8 fishermen at the same time although the boat sails with its full capacity of 12 seats.

The most frequent catches are Xargos, Chopas, Fañecas, Cabrachos and in general what is called rock fish .

The rate includes rods, tackle, bait and of course the Skipper, Sailor and fuel.

- Deep-sea fishing : we will leave before sunrise and the day lasts from 8 to 10 hours. It is the so-called trolling fishing, with the aim of capturing tuna, the Northern Bonito (Thunus alalunga), the Bonita (Thunus obesus), and other sporadic species such as the Melva or the Marlin.

The maximum quota is 20 pieces and sometimes when the quota is completed before noon, we go to the coast to end the day anchored in a cove to bathe or jump ashore and complete the day of fishing.

Within the price, we will lend you both rods, lures and necessary tackle. It includes the skipper, the fuel of the boat and the assistance of the sailor.

Both boats are rented in their entirety , not being available for reservations per seat.

We have the best fleet of rental boats in the Cantabrian Sea, with latest generation boats and always first-hand. Before renting a sports boat, compare and analyze the type of boat in which you are going to go out to enjoy the sea, because what can be a pleasant and unforgettable experience, can turn into a "bad drink", which without a doubt either will never forget.

Monohulls, boats of small length and with many years behind them generate smoke and rocking that in all probability will cause dizziness and discomfort of the crew. For this reason, since 2000, our company has opted for the catamaran type boats of the latest generation that with their two hulls reduce this possibility to the maximum.

Precisely because of the type of boat and the idiosyncrasy of this Cantabrian Sea, we will always rent the boat with a professional skipper on board (which is included in the charter price), an expert who knows the boat and our coast.

The boat is rented for closed groups , we do not accept individual reservations from clients to form groups ourselves. It can be rented from 1 hour to a full day.

Maximum capacity of the boat, 12 people plus the Skipper and Sailor.

With Proastur you can celebrate your maritime bachelor party on the Asturian coasts or those of Galicia. Our concern is that you relax and have a good time marking a good memory in your memory because nothing should spoil unique moments like this.

To take you as part of this party, we have two boat models at your disposal that we detail so you can choose. If after that you are not clear about it, we will advise you on which one we consider to be the best with your group. The ships are:

- Athenea 38: it consists of 4 cabins in total and 2 bathrooms that make it even more comfortable. She also has a kitchen and a small living room where you can rest when you no longer want to be on deck. For a farewell we can host up to 12 people for spaces of 4 or 8 hours.

- Lagoon 440: in this case its 4 cabins are double and it has 4 bathrooms, so that you can use one per cabin so you don't have to share it with the others. It also has a living room and kitchen, with the same passenger capacity. Similarly, it can be rented only for half a day or to spend a full day with us.

We know that you like to enjoy the beautiful view of the boats that we have at Proastur . Well now imagine being your own skipper or finally having the ability to participate in a regatta. For this we have specialized in giving you the best possible training in all areas, both when obtaining your license and in sports:

- Dinghy sailing courses : the only thing we are going to ask you is that you know how to swim because the rest of the team is going to do it for us. They are programs that take place between July and September. We reserve the afternoons, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. so that you can better organize your day. There will be a small block of theory of 3 hours after that, 12 more hours are waiting for us to pass the practical part.

- Sailing courses for children : the children's version of the previous one. It is also taught during the week but from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. being aware that in the summer months the children are on vacation.

- Navigation License : with which you will be able to navigate independently at a distance that does not exceed 4 miles, regardless of whether it is by sail or motor, as long as the maximum length is 6 meters. You will not need to pass an exam and it does not expire.

- Sports qualifications P.E.R. : you do not have to know anything theoretical in advance. You will have to participate in our classes, between March and April, in order to prepare for the exam that takes place in May. If you want to continue advancing later, we can train you as a skipper and yacht captain.
