Snowshoe route Circo de Becedas

The winter season inevitably takes us away from beach plans but brings us closer to the mountains. One of these mountains is located in the Sierra de Bejar and there we propose a snowshoe excursion. Together with an expert instructor you will go out to explore the fabulous area of the Circo de Becedas.

The instructor will explain the itinerary to you, as well as how to use snowshoes if you are a beginner. And, without much further ado, you will begin a 6.5 km excursion that will take you along a large white esplanade. Depending on the year, we will be faced with a route where you will see ice waterfalls measuring about 4 or 5 meters.

As a background, in the landscape, the snapshot of the Laguna del Hornillo will be saved. It is an area completely covered by ice and snow. A magnificent panorama where you can take a nice souvenir photo. Another of the most beautiful points that you will see will be the peak of Peña Negra.

Once we reach the summit, we will see before us (and it is sunny) the entire valley. The reflection effect caused by the sun is fantastic. As fantastic as the journey itself and to which you will have to come with waterproof clothing, windbreakers and boots. Sunglasses are essential.
